Perpetually apologizing to the people of Jupiter

Two tracks that were created roughly two years apart. One was originally created to be a submission for a label compilation that ended up never getting put together and had been sitting in a folder for far too long. The other uses samples of that song as the starting point to create something new.

The title of the record comes from something in the room of dAVE's daughter. On the ceiling is small models of the planets in our solar system. The model for Jupiter ended up hanging near the closet and dAVE found it often happened where they bumped their head into it.

dAVE made a joke with their daughter about saying sorry to the people of Jupiter any time it happened.

The song titles come from things dAVE's daughter said one time while playing together about traveling in a rocket ship to the moon.

  1. Let’s Go to the Moon (3:51)

Recorded in July of 2024. This track takes a couple of samples from the session of the other track and something new was created from them as the starting point.

  2. We’re Going to be Okay, We’re Going to Make It to the Moon (13:08)

The track that was originally written for the compilation in July of 2022. The theme of the compilation was around the number thirteen, so every song was going to be thirteen minutes long.
